At Blues we are a small independent caterer based locally in York.  We specialise in relaxed sharing style meals and barbeque inspired menus.  Our main options centre around rustic wooden sharing boards presented to the tables with a range of your choice of meats, vegetarian and vegan options and sides.  The boards look great and work really well to create a wonderful relaxed and social atmosphere on the day of your event! We then have a varied range of unique starters, canapes, desserts, and more casual evening street food to choose from to both compliment the main meals and create a flexible feast.

I'm the florist and owner at Leafy Couture York, and I’m delighted to offer you a wealth of floral happiness. I’ve grown up and worked in York all my life and I just love it… as does my gorgeous Golden Retriever who also loves nothing more than to “stop and smell the flowers’  on our daily walks around the city.

As a business full of heart, I am here to interpret your flower desires and make every occasion or event just that little bit extra special, whether it be celebratory, friendship, love or loss.  I’ve lived a bit, and know first hand just how much delivering floral joy can bring for all of these times. 

On your wedding day, I’ll be observing everything. I’ll listen to conversations between your guests, and I’ll notice that each guest has their own story and their personal connection with you. I’ll capture that naturally, without people even noticing.

I’ll listen to people telling jokes, and I’ll be ready before the punchline is delivered so I can capture the first laugh.

I’ll be constantly aware and watching everyone, quietly, so I can tell the stories of everyone’s day

My style of natural wedding photography is to learn about you and adapt to what suits you. It is not to bulldoze in and impose my ideas about what should be done. I’ll be in the action when needed, and stand back and observe for the rest of the time.
